EMPLOYEE AIR CONDITIONING BOOTH

The heat generated in large plants calls for creative and flexible solutions to ensure comfortable and productive working conditions.

Although the high temperature in a furniture plant did not warrant a full air conditioning system, it was felt that the employees would benefit from a cool place to rest during breaks. After carefully evaluating the situation, Shaver Industries developed a flexible relief booth.

The concept was quite simple: An air conditioning unit was mounted on a rigid top panel. Insulating PVC strips were suspended from the top panel to allow for easy access into and out of the booth while keeping the cold air inside.

This cost-efficient A/C booth can be easily re-positioned, considerably improving the working conditions.
